Meet Angela Rose,
founder of Sacred Space Beauty & Wellness—and before I tell you where we’re headed, I want to honor where I’ve been.
Because Sacred Space wasn’t created from perfection or ease.
It was born from real life. Real struggle. Deep love. Hard seasons. And a slow, beautiful remembering of who we are beneath everything we’ve been taught to carry.
Where It All Began
I grew up in a family that loved deeply, but we didn’t have much money. I was raised alongside my two sisters and brother whom one of my sisters, has significant disabilities, and that experience shaped so much of who I became. It shaped my nervous system, my compassion, my understanding of responsibility, and my ability to be present with people through moments that are both hard and beautiful.
I learned early how to care for others.
How to be strong.
How to keep going.
Later in life, I became a single mom. I know what it feels like to carry everything on your shoulders while trying to hold life together and make sure everyone else is okay.
I worked as a massage therapist for Mayo Clinic, believing I had finally found a sense of security. Then, just as I was in the process of buying my first home, our entire department was eliminated.
Overnight, what I thought was stable disappeared.
I was devastated.
But that experience cracked something open in me. It forced me to face fear, uncertainty, and a much deeper question:
Who am I without external safety?
I’ve also walked through abusive relationships. I’ve experienced what it feels like to lose your voice, question your worth, and live with anxiety that can feel overwhelming.
There were seasons when I genuinely believed something about me needed to be fixed.
That I wasn't enough.
That I needed to become different in order to be worthy.
But through years of healing, education, bodywork, meditation, and lived experience, I began to understand something that changed everything:
There is nothing to fix.
Sometimes we disconnect from ourselves because we are trying to survive.
Sometimes we become who we think we need to be to belong.
Sometimes we lose touch with our own voice because we’ve spent so much time listening to everyone else.
Healing, for me, became less about becoming someone new and more about remembering the person who was already there.
The Body Knows
One of the first times I ever felt truly connected to my body was as a teenager, during a meditation in the middle of a very difficult season of my life.
For the first time, I felt here.
Present.
Connected.
Safe inside myself.
That moment stayed with me.
Over the years, meditation, massage, breathwork, body awareness, and nervous-system practices became important parts of my own journey. They gave me ways to quiet the noise, become present, and begin listening to something deeper than the constant chatter of my mind.
Because our bodies speak.
Sometimes they speak what our minds cannot.
Tension.
Tightness.
Restlessness.
Ease.
Expansion.
A feeling of safety—or a feeling that something isn't right.
Our bodies are constantly communicating with us.
And I believe that when we learn to slow down enough to listen, the body can become a pathway back to ourselves.
That is a big part of the work I love doing.
I help people quiet the mind, become more aware of what they are feeling in their bodies, and create space to listen inward.
Not so I can tell you what your body is saying.
But so you can begin to hear it for yourself.
To recognize the difference between fear and intuition.
To notice where you feel safe, where you feel guarded, and where you may have disconnected.
To develop a deeper relationship with yourself.
To build inner trust.
To remember that you can come home to yourself.
Let the Mud Settle
I often think about the mind like a jar of muddy water.
When everything is being stirred up, you can't see clearly.
The more you shake it, the cloudier it becomes.
But when you stop.
When you set the jar down.
When you allow everything to settle.
Slowly, the water becomes clear again.
Our inner world can be like that too.
Stillness doesn't always feel peaceful at first.
Sometimes slowing down means finally noticing what we've been avoiding.
It can feel uncomfortable.
Messy.
Even scary.
But when we give ourselves permission to pause instead of immediately rushing to fix, distract, or push through, something begins to shift.
Clarity has room to emerge.
Self-trust has room to grow.
And sometimes, underneath all the noise, we discover that we already knew the answer.
We just needed enough stillness to hear it.
Why I Created Sacred Space
Sacred Space was created to be a place where you don't have to perform.
You don't have to have it all together.
You don't have to explain why you need rest.
You don't have to earn care.
You get to simply arrive as you are.
I wanted to create a space where beauty and wellness could exist together—because I don't believe you have to choose between feeling good and looking good.
You get to have both.
You get to enjoy being pampered.
You get to care about your skin, your body, your appearance, your confidence, and how you feel when you look in the mirror.
You also get to slow down, breathe, reconnect, and nourish yourself on a deeper level.
None of those things have to compete.
Sacred Space is a place to pause.
To be cared for.
To feel beautiful.
To reconnect with your body.
To quiet the outside world for a little while.
And maybe, underneath all of that, to remember yourself.
A Little About Me
Outside of Sacred Space, I'm a mom to four beautiful kiddos—three boys and a girl.
Being their mom has been one of the greatest teachers of my life. They have taught me about love, patience, resilience, growth, and the importance of being present for the moments that matter.
They are a huge part of my heart.
I'm also someone who finds a lot of joy in the simple things.
Give me a good cup of coffee and I'm happy.
I love creating with my hands, especially chalk drawing and acrylic painting. I love meditation and quiet moments that allow me to reconnect with myself.
And I absolutely love being surrounded by nature.
There is something about the ocean that makes me feel expansive and free, while the mountains make me feel grounded and connected. Both remind me that there is something much bigger than the noise of everyday life.
I'm drawn to soulful music, meaningful conversations, beautiful spaces, creativity, and experiences that make me feel truly alive.
I'm a lifelong student, always learning, growing, exploring, and discovering new ways to understand the beautiful connection between the body, mind, and soul.
And then there are the stories that make life a little more fun...
A Fun Fact
I've had the incredible opportunity to massage Luke Bryan—not once, but twice!
And honestly, he was every bit as wonderful as you might hope.
Kind.
Humble.
Genuinely a really great human being.
It's definitely one of those experiences I never get tired of talking about. ❤️

Where We're Going
Sacred Space is becoming more than a spa.
It's becoming a community.
A place where beauty and wellness come together. Where you can receive incredible services, but also discover something deeper.
A place where we can talk about the body.
About confidence.
About nervous-system regulation.
About self-trust.
About slowing down.
About feeling safe enough to listen to yourself again.
About creating a life that actually feels like yours.
My vision is to create a space where people from all walks of life feel welcome, seen, cared for, and free to simply be themselves.
Because I don't believe you need to become someone else to be worthy.
I don't believe you're broken.
And I don't believe you need to have everything figured out before you begin.
Sometimes the journey is simply learning how to listen again.
Your body has wisdom.
Your soul has a voice.
You are not broken.
You are not too much.
You are not not enough.
There is nothing you need to become to be worthy of love, care, rest, beauty, or belonging.
You are already here.
You are already you.
And maybe it's time to come home.
Come back home to you.

Meet Nazerae,
Hi, I’m Nazerae Duden, and I’m a massage therapist with a passion for helping people feel more relaxed, restored, and connected to their bodies.
I graduated from Saint Paul College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 2017, and began my journey in massage therapy that same year, working at Hand & Stone Massage in Minnesota even before completing my education. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my knowledge and skills through hands-on experience and additional training.
My specialty is deep tissue massage, although I am comfortable working with all pressure preferences and love tailoring each session to what my client’s body needs. Some of my favorite modalities include hot stone massage and salt stone massage, which I have been practicing for about a year. I also offer bamboo massage, prenatal massage, kinesiology taping, and YoMassage. I’ve also been expanding my knowledge in cupping massage and look forward to continuing to learn and grow as a therapist.
Originally, I was born and raised in the Idaho/Montana area before moving to Wisconsin in 2006. I now live in Menomonie, Wisconsin, with my husband and our blended family of seven children—six of mine and one of his. My husband and I were married

Meet Sammie
Licensed Massage Therapist | Reiki Level 1 | Certified Yoga Teacher
Sammie completed the massage therapy program at PHD Academy right here in Eau Claire in 2023. Since then, she has continued expanding her knowledge through additional training in massage for fibromyalgia, pregnancy massage, anxiety and massage, and more. She is also Reiki Level 1 attuned and has been a certified yoga teacher since 2018.
Sammie’s favorite massage to give is an integrative one, blending relaxation techniques with focused work on the areas her clients need extra attention based on their work, hobbies, and everyday lives. Her approach is slow and intentional, encouraging the body and nervous system to settle, while adjusting pressure to each client’s preference.
Outside of the studio, you’ll find Sammie doing aerials at Moonrise Aerials, taking long walks with her Australian Shepherd, or trying something new. She’ll be graduating as a registered nurse in December, but massage therapy will remain a passion she plans to continue.
She feels honored to share her love of massage with women who are ready to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and receive the self-care they deserve.
